Reminder:Yard Sale at Scooter on Sat, 18 April @ 7:30/8ish at Scooter Roo. Hey everybody, I just wanted to remind everyone that we are going to attempt the yard sale again on this coming Saturday. Geri at Scooter Roo has been nice enough to offer to store items for anyone that wants to drop them off at Scooter Roo during business hours, so anyone who has big stuff or who can't make it on Sat can do so. The funds generated by this sale may be donated to the club in part or full by participating members , or members may choose to keep any money earned. All funds donated to the club will be split between the general club fund and a special fund that will be used for the breast cancer awareness rally that will most likely take place towards the end of the summer. So come on out and support the club on the 18th. Even if you don't have anything to sell, drop by; there might be something you can't live without! I'll look forward to seeing you all. Thanks! Rayna

I have decided that due to the weather, which is supposed to be cold in the am, we should push the start time for the sale to 9:00am. I'll probably be at Scooter Roo after 8:30am, so I hope to see some of you all out there!

Rayna, I won't be making it. My apologies. My scooter is still in the shop (I was hoping the parts would arrive today, they didn't, probably tomorrow [Sat.]). I'm pretty sick though still. I can ride a scooter sick but since I don't have that, I'll probably just take it easy at home.
You guys have all my stuff though, you can price it accordingly and all of the funds go to the cause.

I just wanted to let everyone know that the yard sale was pretty darn successful. We earned about $80 for the club and had a pretty good time. Great big thanks to Geri and Danny, who are always such graceful hosts and even had donuts and coffee for us. John, Elisabeth and I had a good time hanging out and talking to the people who stopped by. Several scooterists stopped by, so thanks to Mary Ann, Robin, Shawn, and Arthur (a Pharaoh buddy.) And another big thanks to Mike, who even helped us break the sale down. We will do this again in a month or so, so start cleaning out your closets!
