OPEN 150cc+ RIDE DETAILS: Ride to Madrid

Date: Sunday, May 24th
Meet Time: 10:00am and we roll out @ 10:30pm
Meet Location: Scooter Roo @ 1400 Eubank Blvd NE Albuquerque, NM 87112
Ride Distance: 80+ mile round trip

We will meet up at Scooter Roo for a brief howdy hi, we will then roll out south down Eubank then east on Central to Historic 66 then to North 14 to Madrid where we will meet up at the Mine Shaft Tavern for snacks and refreshments and maybe a bit of sight seeing before the return ride.

- This ride is for 150cc+ bikes as minimum speed required is 55 mph
- Be sure you and your bike are mechanically sound for this ride.
- Gas up before the meet-up.
- Please have a recovery plan in effect! (Roadside Assistance or a truck for recovery on standby!)

Return route will be the reverse to Central at which point we will break off for the day.

Again, as always this ride is open to all scooters 150cc+ no matter what you ride from Modern & Vintage Vespas, Piaggios, Hondas, Yamahas, Stellas, Lambrettas, PGO, Genuine Scooters, Kymcos, Bajaj, Sym scooters! - Got a motorcycle? Come and join the ride!!

I don't think I'll be able to ride, I have friends visiting but I will meet up to drop off the two way radios.

The ride to Madrid is great, I organized a ride to there last year, it was fun, the Mine Shaft tavern is also great. Lots of art galleries all over town. Wish I could go but I have to work.
Oh, and remember that the Mine Shaft is a biker bar....

I wish I could make the ride, But once again I will be out of town. When I re-read the post on Craigs list it caught my eye.

You might lose a few people if they have to hang out for 12 and a half hours before going riding. ;D
