Hosted by R&S and Gardunos, Bike Nights starts this Thursday (3/19) from 7-9pm. This repeats every Thursday night (no end date mentioned).
Motorcycles, Music, Food, Prizes. Scooters are welcome too of course.
Location is "Gardunos on the Greens". This is at 9401 Balloon Museum Dr. (the one at the Balloon Fiesta Park).
I'm not sure if there is a great route out there for slower scoots like myself.

Bike Nights was a good time. Tons of bikers showed up. From groups that looked to do touring to younger folks on crotch rockets, they were all here. For the first event of many, it was already very busy. People kept showing up for an hour (most of my pictures were early, my little camera (phone) can't take nighttime pictures). R&S was giving out free taco cards too, so a couple of tacos were on the house. Extra tacos were only $1ea (Garduno's tacos, not Taco Bell). For future Bike Nights, they will not be giving the free taco cards out on-site, you will have to pick them up in an R&S store prior. That's free tacos, and free tacos are as awesome as John is...in case you don't know, that's very awesome. You can find photos here, just click on the little right picture to advance forward. Notable photos: One of these things is not like the others- This side-car was awesome. It has an electric seat inside that raises up so the old woman (pictured) is able to get in and out. The top gives her a sealed environment with temperature control-

I have to admit that you are pretty hardcore! (Just don't aspire to Richard-style hardcore!) I really wish I could have gone to this with you, my racing buddy. Things have been sort of ridiculous here this week, but by next week I hope I can be a little more spontaneous! Ride hard (or as hard as you can, speedy!)

John, I just got back from Scooter Roo. I'm looking at Saturday (or possibly Tuesday) for my scoot to be done.
Looks like I'll be missing it this time around. I do plan on going next week though.

Hey all, I just wanted to let you all know that I was the only one that was there plus all crotch rockets and harleys and a lot more bikes at the event today. I enjoyed myself and had lots of fun and got to ride one of their scooters that was on display.
I wished some of you would of made it but there will always be a next time.....
Also the guy that was at Satellite for scooter nites was there and he had said that Gardunos had a water pipe bust and they moved it to their Coors location. He wants us all to attend with as much scooters as possible because the owner will be there also......So lets make an impression to these guys. What do all Scooternoids have to say?

Rayna and myself tried to go last night. We got the word that they moved it from a biker leaving the area, although all he said was "their west side location at Coors and Alameda". We assumed he meant the Gardunos over there, although it looked like no event was going on.
By that time, it was starting to get dark and cold so we just called it a day and headed back. It was a nice ride, but no tacos makes me a sad panda.
I will be going next week if you're going, Mike. I will definitely be at Scooter Nights as well given that my scoot doesn't break down (I was having issues last night, likely the carbureator, I've got to look more into it).

I will be going to Bike Nights this week if anybody is interested. I'll be leaving UNM around 6:45 and going straight to the event.
If anybody wants to meet up and ride over there, just hit me up.
They have tacos.

I would just like to put it down on record that Illsabeth has been challenged to a taco throw down. After seeing her and John eat tacos Thursday night, I seriously doubt their dedication to the cause. Three tacos is a joke, yet Illsabeth acted like she was swimming in the ground beef already. There's a word for that: disappointment. That's what I felt. There's a solution: Taco Sunday @ Del Taco. Redemption. A place to prove yourself. No date is set yet. Obviously it can be any Sunday. Thankfully, Taco Sunday does not descriminate which Sunday the taco will be on sale, therefore, every Sunday those tacos are going for a lower than normal price.

Have you never seen me eat? The one time I try to not over eat and I get crap from you for it. How dare you doubt my love of tacos! What is this the taco spin zone? Anyone who has seen me eat knows I can eat more than 3 tacos in a sitting. BRING IT! This mother f#$%*&% Sunday!

Its a little late but who's going to bike nights? I went to r&s and grabbed a stack of taco coupons if anyone is there and in need of tacos hit me up. p.s. When i was there i noticed that their scooter tires are 50% off right now . I picked up a bridgestone 3.5 x 10 for 22 bucks.

I can't go, scooter is still down.
Sounds like a good deal for scooter tires, I might hit that up! I'll be up for it next week though.
