Ride Distance: 10+ miles
Destination 2: Tinker Town Museum @ 121 Sandia Crest Rd, Sandia Park, NM 87047

Destination 3 (for the hardcore!): Sandia Crest at 10,640 ft.
Ride Distance: 12.3+ miles
Final Destination: Return ride back via 66 to Tramway (break off-point) for those interested we will continue down Tramway to Academy over to the Hallenbrick Brewery for local handcrafted Ales and Root Beer
We will meet up at Chevron for a brief howdy hi, we will then roll out east on old route 66, then to north 14, to Coffee at Dawn for drinks and snacks. After brunch we will head to Tinker Town Museum on north 14 for a walk around their awesome museum for an hour or so. The ride will then essentially break up after the Museum BUT those of you that are interested may continue on to Sandia Crest, this section of the ride will be at the riders discretion as this road is crazy twisty with fun switchbacks but again 100cc and smaller scooters are discouraged.
PLEASE - Do not ride past you or your scooters abilities!
Again, as always this ride is open to all scooters 100cc and larger smaller bikes are strongly discouraged as this ride takes place on Old 66 and North 14 (50+ MPH speed limit!).
Don't forget!:
- A full tank of Gas!
- Your CAMERA!!
- Money for Tinker Town, food & drinks
- Sunblock and/or Rain Gear! (never hurts!!)
Scooters capable of a sustained 45+ MPH of any make, model or age, be them vintage rides or modern twist-n-go’s (Vespa, Piaggio, Cushman, Honda, Yamaha, Stella, Lambretta, PGO, Genuine, Jawa, KYMCO, Bajaj, SYM, Fly, Suzuki, Schwinn, Baron etc…) mopeds (that can do 45!) and motorcyclists cool enough to ride with scooters are always welcome on the ride!
We hope to see you Sunday!!
