Hello All, There were previous posts in regards to this but I had to delete the thread due to inappropriate content & behavior. Please take the time to review the The Duke City Scooter Club Board Guidelines thread. PLEASE keep all personal comments OFF the board but if you would like to participate please respond! I would like to remind everybody that we do want to support local community events in both an official and unofficial capacity when and if possible. D.C.S.C. participation was brought up in our last meeting but we did not discuss official sponsorship of this event. So with that being said, those of you that would be interested in attending this OPEN event are totally welcome to do so. I assure you that it is your personal choice to attend but I'm personally down to participate in this event - injuries permitting! Please check out this link www.abqpride.com and contact mikezumascooter34 (aka cinder block kickstand) via PM if you would like to participate in the ABQ PRIDE 2009!! RIDE HAPPY!!! Richard

Thanks, Mike a.k.a TAZ [edited by Admin] I was the one that made those comments. I wish to apologize for my behaviour. I realize that my remarks were offensive to some members of this forum. It was not my intention to do so, but it came out that way. I should have chosen my words more carefully. Free speech is a right that many have paid for with their blood. You may not like the message, but that right I will always defend with whatever means are available to me. It is not my place to judge how another person lives their life unless it harms myself or my family. A GayPride Parade will not do that. Please accept my apology. Foo

Hey man, apology is accepted and yes everybody is entitled to freedom of speech but it's only limited nowadays.
This is the new millenium and people can hardly say anything to anyone any more. Meaning, that there are no more words.....You direspect a person, that person is going to shoot you and kill you. There was an issue on the show Ellen Degeneres about an 11 y/o boy asking another boy to be his Valentine and the other boy killed him. You think that is right?
Anyways, enough of that and dude like I said, apology is accepted. You have a good day and hope to see you on future scooter runs. I hold no grudges because we're both adults and can work things out.
